There are two types of cutting torches :
low-pressure cutting torches and high-pressure cutting torches.

There are several types of LE LORRAIN low-pressure cutting torches all of which may be used, as required, with oxygen + acetylene or oxygen + propane/LPG by simply fitting the torch with the appropriate cutting nozzle. The cutting nozzles are also selected according to the thickness to be cut (see table below). |

Low-pressure cutting torches are recommended
for experienced professionals who will greatly appreciate the heating flame quality.

High pressure cutting torches |

LE LORRAIN high-pressure cutting torches are specifically recommended for users working under difficult conditions or for relatively inexperienced users. The heating gas is mixed at the cutting nozzle. The mixture is selected in the same way as for the low-pressure cutting torch depending on the gas used, on the one hand, and the thickness to be cut on the other . (see table below)

- nozzle at 90, 120 or 180°,
- optional flame arrestor non-return valve,
- special lengths on request.

- Pressure drop due to pipe length
- Condition of the equipment
- The number of flameproof non-return valves and quick-release connections and
their operating condition

Machine torches |

Whether for oxyacetylene cutting tables or the steel industry, LE LORRAIN machine torches comprise 2- or 3-inlet torches, with adjustment taps and/or shut-off valves and/or cooling circuit.
